Being Taught From My Gambling Blunders

First to explain why I write this article. I have been wagering on the net or at land-based betting houses for many years. I have discovered, the addiction can grab a hold of you and you won’t even realize it until you are bankrupt. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I have gone through many thousands of dollars in a very tiny amount of time and to this day on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It seems you are just having fun until you decide to be aware of your loss and the guilt settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can get it back" repeatedly. It doesn’t works. Then you feel sick in your belly and the more you try the quicker you lose.

When you notice that you are ahead, STAY on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not say to yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, believe me, this method RARELY ever works. Say you’re betting on slots, have a bankroll put aside before starting your action. Don’t go over that limit, no matter how captivating. If you happen to succeed, put that in a different canister. Don’t use your winnings no matter what. Once you’ve gone through your original set limit, stop. Leave, whether it’s on the net or at a land based casino, don’t stick around. Always remember, there will be another day, another time.

Always remember, wagering should be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan not manage the loss, don’t even start.
